Uni Deritend Ltd. is India’s forerunner in the manufacture of Investment Castings (Lost Wax Process) and has supplied over 10,000 types of different near net shaped parts to almost every conceivable engineering application in over 250 alloys to a host of different industries. There are three manufacturing facilities in different locations one of which has India's first and only Robot Shelling System at its Nasik plant, having a collective capacity to produce over 2,000 tonnes of Investment Castings per year.

The company’s R&D facilities are recognized by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Government of India. Its commitment to sound process control measures to achieve the most stringent requirements of metallurgical and metrological properties has led to exceedingly low levels of rejection. It has developed an ability to handle large volume orders thereby providing innovative solutions with speed and accuracy. It also has an in-house capability to manufacture most of the important consumables such as various types of waxes and ceramic cores, both castable & injectable, thereby maintaining control on the quality and costs.
